ei voi (Not before sundown; to be published shortly
also in English; Tammi, 2000) has been translated by Viola Parente-Capková
and published by One Woman Press of Prague. The title is Ne pred
slunce západem.
French
Johanna Sinisalo's novel Ennen päivänlaskua ei voi
(Not before sundown) has also been published by Actes Sud
of Arles as Jamais avant le coucher du soleil; the translator
is Anne Colin du Terrail.
German
A novel by Asko Sahlberg, Pimeän ääni ('The
voice of darkness', WSOY) has been translated by Stefan Moster. The
title is Die Stimme der Dunkelheit, and the pub-lisher is

The novel by Petri Tamminen, Väärä
asenne ('Wrong attitude', Otava), has also been translated by

The novel Benjamins bok ('Benjamin's book', Schildts) by
Bo Carpelan has been published by Iperborea of Milan as Il libro

Lithuanian
A historical novel, Ihmiskunnan viholliset (The Roman,
WSOY) by Mika Waltari, has been translated by Aida Krilaviciene and
published by Tyto Alba of Vilnius. The title is Zmonijos priesai.
Norwegian
Kjell Westö's novel Vådan av att vara Skrake ('The
perils of being Skrake', Söderströms) has been translated
by Erik Krogstad. The publisher is Pax Forlag A/S of Oslo, and the
title is Faren ved å være Skrake.
Spanish
An anthology of poetry from the Nordic countries has been edited and
translated by Francisco J. Uriz. The title is Afinidades afectivas.
