French The novel Laituri matkalla mereen ('The jetty to the sea', WSOY; see Books from Finland 1/2002) by Daniel Katz has been published under the title Ponton à la dérive, translated by Paula et Christian Nabais. Norwegian A children's book by Tove Appelgren, Sov nu, Vesta-Linnéa ('Go to sleep, Vesta-Linnéa', Söderströms) has been published by Gyldendal of Oslo. The title is Mari får ikke sove and the translator is Kjersti Scheen.      The novel Jäniksen vuosi (The Year of the Hare, Weilin+ Göös) by Arto Paasilinna has been translated by Nøste Kendzior. The title is Harens år, the publisher is Aschehoug of Oslo. Russian 100 Faces from Finland, introducing eminent Finns, edited by Timo Vihavainen, has been translated by Ilja Solomesc. Spanish A collection of poems by the Finland-Swedish poet Elmer Diktonius (1896-1961) has been selected and translated by Francisco J. Uriz.
