Regulations and restrictions

In signing the request form, customers agree to abide by the Society’s regulations and guidelines. Furthermore, they assure not to use the material to the disadvantage or disparagement of the donators, the individuals who provided information, their relatives, or other people concerned. Restrictions on the use of individual material set by the donors must also be observed. Section 27 of the Act on the Openness of Government Activities (621/1999) must be observed in using material together with the provisions contained in the Personal Data Act (523/1999) and the current copyright regulations. The laws, decrees, regulations and guidelines concerning the material are on display in the archive reading rooms.
