FILI retains the right to use sample translations for purposes such as foreign book fairs, meetings with publishers, and literary events. Sample translation grants will be paid when the translator has signed and returned the contract sent to them by FILI, as required by Finnish state subsidy laws, as well as a copy of the completed translation and personal and banking details.
