Open collections and quiet working space on the ground floor
The majority of open collections are in the quiet library space on the ground floor.
The open collections include the literary research collection and the collection of research literature on culture. The collections contain material that can be borrowed, and reference books and bibliographies that are part of the reference library. You can check the locations of the works in the SKS Finna service and the Helka database. The older material in both collections, as well as other literature in the field of humanities is in storage. You can access it by making a storage retrieval request. Read more about the library collections.
You can access electronic material using the library terminals or by logging in to the SKS wireless network with your own device. You can browse and read e-journals using BrowZine, which is available on all the computers in the library.
