Working in the Library

The SKS wireless network is available everywhere in the library. You can access it using your own laptop. When you log in to the network, you can access the licensed electronic material of the library, too.
Reading and working spaces on the first floor
On the first floor, there is a reading corner where you can sit down and browse through journals and books. You can browse e-journals using BrowZine.
Sounds carry from the service area to the reading and working spaces on the first floor. There is also a quiet reading room which can be used for studying when it is not reserved for meetings. Library customers are free to use the computers at the back of the reading room.
Reading and working spaces on the ground floor
On the ground floor, there are quiet reading and working spaces, some of them with a computer. The computers are meant to be used mainly when looking for information and using electronic material. The computers are connected to the internet, and you can work on your own files using Microsoft Office programs. You can print out material using the multipurpose machine on the first floor.
