To and from the airport
Public Transport (Helsinki Regional Transport/HSL)
Airport bus 615 (620N during night time) operates to and from Helsinki city centre. At the airport, the bus stops for both arriving and departing buses are situated in front of the terminals (Terminal 1: bus stop 2, Terminal 2: bus stop 21). The bus stop downtown (for rides to and from the airport) is located across from Helsinki Central Railway Station. Buses to the airport leave from platform 3. Travel time is approximately 40 minutes and the bus fare is 5€. Tickets can be bought directly from the driver or ticket machines. Please note that credit cards are not accepted as a method of payment when purchasing tickets directly from the driver.

Finnair City Bus
Finnair City Bus is an independent bus service operated by Pohjolan Liikenne. At the airport, the bus stops for both incoming and departing buses are situated in front of the terminals. At Helsinki city centre the bus leaves from Elielinaukio, platform 30, which is on the other side of Helsinki Central Railway Station. The average travel time is 30 minutes. Tickets can be bought from the online shop (6,20€) or directly from the driver (6,30€). Most major credit cards are accepted as a method of payment.

Taxi
Journeys by taxi from the airport to the centre of Helsinki take about 30 minutes and cost between 35–50 €. The taxi stands are located right outside the arrival areas of the terminals. There are various taxi stands at the city centre of Helsinki, including one at the Helsinki Central Railway Station. You can also order a taxi by calling +358 (0) 100 0700.
