Nineteenth Century Studies Network
The multi-disciplinary and multi-lingual network brings together researchers from different fields whose research interests coincide with or touch upon the 19th century.
Our aim is to increase contacts among researchers, arrange seminars and improve the visibility of 19th century research. The network holds a 19th century research conference each year.
As a member, you will gain access to a network of 19th century researchers and others interested in the field. The long century is understood broadly as reaching from the French Revolution until the First World War.

The network was founded in 2008 and at present has over 250 members. The network’s coordinator is presently Dr. Ilona Pikkanen.
