Grants for foreign publishers / The Nordic Council of Ministers’ translation grant
Finnish fiction and non-fiction into Nordic languages
FILI’s Finnish fiction and non-fiction into Nordic languages grant programme covers the costs of translating books published in Finland from Finnish or Finland-Swedish into the Nordic languages.
There are three application rounds per year: 1.1 – 1.2, 1.4 – 1.5, 1.10 – 1.11.
Applications are submitted via an online application form which can be accessed on the FILI website during the application round. The form is removed on the last day of each application round at 23.59 (Finnish time). No applications are accepted outside of the application rounds.
Grants will not be awarded retrospectively for translations that have already been published
The grant programme is funded by The Nordic Council of Ministers.
HUOM. Suomalaiset kustantajat voivat hakea tästä ohjelmasta tukea suomenruotsalaisen kauno- ja tietokirjallisuuden suomentamiseen.
