Interlibrary Loans
Our interlibrary loan service enables you to borrow our material if you reside outside of Helsinki. We order loans from other libraries for our customers and provide interlibrary loans to other institutions.
If the publication which you need is not available in the metropolitan area libraries, we can order it for you from other libraries in Finland or abroad.
The interlibrary loan service may carry a fee, depending on from which library the item is borrowed. Our fees are as follows:
Loans from the Repository Library | free of charge |
Loans from Finnish libraries | €10 / item |
Loans from Scandinavian libraries | €10 / item |
Loans from libraries abroad | €25 or according to invoice |
If you are elsewhere in the country or outside of Finland and would like to request an item from our collection, please contact your own library to arrange the loan.
