Laura Kokko is a cultural historian whose doctoral research at the University of Turku examines the author image, reception, and cultural legacy of Volter Kilpi (1874–1939). Combining critical biography, history of experience, and digital humanities, her work explores how gender, embodiment, and social networks shape artistic identity and literary reputation. In addition to her academic research, Kokko is a violinist in the Lahti Symphony Orchestra and has worked as artistic director for the Volter Kilpi Kustavissa Literature Festival.
