I am a literary scholar and hold a Title of Docent in Comparative Literature at the University of Helsinki. I’m currently working on a research project entitled “In the words of others: the art and craft of citation” (2024–2026).

My research interests include questions of authorship, imitation and forgery. I have also written extensively on islands and seashores as literary places.
