Research residence in Tartu

If you are a researcher in the humanities or social sciences with a research topic relevant to Tartu, you work in the field of culture and have business in the city or you simply need a peaceful place to work on your research, you can apply for our residence in Tartu!

The residence is a one bedroom apartment in the centre of Tartu, near the Eesti Kirjandusmuuseum and the university. Residencies are granted to one applicant at a time, but the apartment can temporarily house up to four people. The stay in the apartment is free of charge.

The residencies are generally between one week and one month in length. Residencies longer than this are only granted under exceptional circumstances
