The Library of the Finnish Literature Society is a research library specialising in Finnish literature, literary studies and cultural research.The cultural research collections consist of domestic and international literature in the fields of folkloristics, anthropology, religious studies and ethnology.

The library is open to everyone. The collections and services are designed for researchers, university students and the general public.

The library collections are catalogued in Helka, the Union Catalogue of Helsinki University libraries.

  • Helka unavailable 19.–25.6.2010
    Helka-database will be closed down for approximately five days on Saturday evening June 19th, 2010, due to maintenance.

    The following HELKA-services are not available during the break:
    - database search
    - renewals
    - reservations
    - paying library fees
    - updating customer information.
